-We saw a classic match today, a cup match in a great atmosphere. Our ultimate goal is to advance to the next round, and the team did it. We played well in the first 20 minutes, but after that, things got out of control. This is exactly what the opponent wants. In the second half, there were not many opportunities for Red and White Essen, but we also did not create many opportunities. Ultimately, you need players who can change the direction of the game, and when we are underprepared, we advance, which is great, and it will take some time for us to get to where other teams are now.

-We started well, but lost control of the game in the first half. We didn't lose the ball in the second half, but overall we created few opportunities ourselves. In the end, this victory deserved. The first round is not easy – we know that, and many Bundesliga teams know that, so we are happy to advance to the next round.
