In an interview, former Argentina international Biglia talked about his experience of joining Lazio.

Biglia joined Lazio from Anderlecht in 2013, but the transaction did not go smoothly at the time. Biglia recalled: "I was locked up in a hotel in Rome for 18 days because the negotiations were delayed. I might even face a lawsuit from FIFA because I did not participate in Anderlecht's training camp."

Biglia went on to say: "Lazio President Lotito He was unwilling to pay a commission of 2 million euros and was only willing to pay a transfer fee of 7 million euros. But he needed to raise money anyway, so he arranged a warm-up match between Anderlecht and Lazio, but there was still a gap of 400,000 euros. In the end, my agent and I chipped in the money."
