Today, The Athletic Lakers team reporter Dan Woike was a guest on NBA reporter Zach Lowe's podcast "The Zach Lowe Show" and talked about Lakers forward James missing the start of the season due to injury.

On October 10, the Lakers officially announced that forward James will undergo re-examination in about 3 to 4 weeks due to right sciatica.
