According to the Milan Sports Daily, AC Milan's boss Red Bird Group may soon form a basketball team to participate in the NBA's European League.

AC Milan may soon have its own basketball team to compete in a new league associated with the NBA, which is also a part of the Red Bird Group's program.

It is said that the NBA is planning to build an NBA European Men's Basketball League and has hired JPMorgan Chase and Raine Group as consultants to help advance. Cardinale, the owner of AC Milan and the head of Red Bird Group, is one of the consultants of the project.

Red Bird Group has investments in multiple sports fields, so building a basketball team linked to AC Milan is considered a good opportunity with commercial potential.

This is not a new concept. In fact, many large European football clubs have basketball teams and share resources, including marketing and commodity sales. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also allegedly showing interest in the project.

It is worth mentioning that Milan is located in Lombardy, which already has a well-known basketball team: Olympia Milan, which currently has a 10-year contract with the European Basketball League.
