Spanish media: 35-year-old Benyedel may join the Turkish second-tier league, but legal issues need to be resolved

According to the Spanish media "Estadio Deportivo", 35-year-old Benyeder is close to joining the Turkish secondary team Amedes.

After playing briefly at Iran's Sepahan Club, Benyeder may continue his career to Türkiye, more specifically, joining Turkish second-tier club Amedes. The transfer negotiations have entered an in-depth stage, and the agreement will be finalized even though the club is still verifying its legal situation.

Benyeder is currently a free agent who scored only one goal in Sepahan's six appearances. He did not choose to extend his adventure in Iran, but instead hoped to find another way out. Benyedel had previously been rumored to have affair with Montpellier and Venice, but it seems that Armede is ready to provide him with new opportunities. However, as mentioned earlier, his joining may still be at risk due to his legal issues.

Benyeder was sentenced to two years of probation for sexual assault after drinking in November 2024; in May 2025, he was once again involved in the investigation for psychological violence; in addition, the Nice court has requested a public prosecution against him in another case of sexual assault.

While waiting for the new contract, Benyeder is training hard and posting inspiring words on social media such as "silence, discipline, return" or "working in the shadows, returning to the light." The right to decide on the final transfer will depend on Amedes and the judicial authorities.
