French media: Neves missed the European Super Cup at suspension, Emery or Douai may play in the midfield as a substitute

According to French media RMC, Emery or Douai may replace Joao Neves, who is suspended, and starts in the European Super Cup.

Paris Saint-Germain will compete with Tottenham for the European Super Cup, and Paris's main midfielder Joao Neves is absent due to suspension, coach Enrique needs to find a suitable replacement. RMC said the most likely option is to arrange Emery to start and directly replace Joao Neves' position.

But Enrique has another option, which is to let Duer retreat some midfielders, and Balcola can enter the starting lineup and form a forward trident with Dembele and Kvaratshelia. This arrangement will further enhance Paris Saint-Germain's attack power.
