According to Daily Sports, due to the time conflict between Barcelona's game day and local fireworks festival, the Barcelona city government will help resolve the stadium problem.

Barcelona City Government said it will make every effort to ensure that the La Liga match between Barcelona and Real Sociedad can be held at 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 28 at the Montsic Olympic Stadium. Although the competition was held at the same time as the city's important event, the St. Melce Music Fireworks Festival, the city government still decided to support it.

Currently, Barcelona is considering three venues: John Cruyff Stadium, Camp Nou Stadium or Montec Olympic Stadium. Chairman Laporta said before attending the Golden Globes ceremony in Paris: "Don't let me give a specific date for returning to Camp Nou, I've learned a lesson once. We are lucky to have three options, but we can only wait for the city's decision now."

The city is aware of the problem of the venue Barcelona has been facing since the start of the season and decided to take action. According to sources, if the club ultimately needs to play at the Montsch Olympic Stadium and follow the time specified in La Liga, the city government will strengthen traffic management measures and deploy special police forces to cooperate with the conventional security measures of the Fireworks Festival to avoid congestion on the road leading to Montsch Mountain.

Barcelona has confirmed that they will face Paris at the Montsic Olympic Stadium on October 1, their first home game this season. Therefore, it is expected that the stadium will also host the match against Real Sociedad on September 28.

Barcelona still hopes to return to Camp Nou as soon as possible. The first phase of the stadium has been completed and can accommodate 27,000 spectators, but the final license for use has not been issued and time is tight.

Laporta emphasized that the club has completed all necessary formalities. "We have obtained the completion certificate, fire report and environmental report, etc., and we are all ready. We know it's a process and we don't want to put more pressure on it, but I believe the return is very close."
