Coming back soon! Barcelona s current Camp Nou appearance list: Tesso, De Jong and Pedri are the top three

Football

Barcelona will face Biba in their return to Camp Nou. Barcelona officials have also compiled a number of statistics.

Many things have changed for Barcelona since the last time they played at this legendary stadium. The last game dates back to May 28, 2023, when Harvey's team swept Mallorca with Fati's brace and Garvey's goal.

Since then, the team's honor room has added a La Liga championship, a King's Cup and a Western Super Cup, and Hansi Flick also took over the coach. The German coach has yet to take charge of a game at the new stadium... and that's all about to change.

Paul Cubasi, Marco Bernal, Juan Garcia, Gerald Martin, Casado, Fermin, Olmo and Rooney Badji have never played a game at the Nou Camp. Also included are several Athletic FC players who have been training with the first team: DeRoro, Toni Fernandez, Joffrey Torrenc, Cohen and Eder Aller.

Casado and Juan Garcia are special situations: both have sat on the bench at Camp Nou before - Casado was during Xavi's coaching period, when he was still officially affiliated with the reserve team; and goalkeeper Juan Garcia entered the squad in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons when Espanyol played away games against Barcelona in the derby, but neither of them got an actual chance to play.

In the current lineup, four of the five captains occupy the top of the team's Camp Nou appearances list: Ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Araujo.

Unfortunately, none of the top three players in appearances will be able to appear in this home return game. De Jong was suspended after receiving two yellow yellows in the last game, while Tesho and Pedri were both injured.

There is one name in the list that stands out: Ramin Yamal. His only appearance at Camp Nou so far was his first-team debut. At only 15 years, 9 months and 16 days old at the time, he became the youngest player to make his official debut for Barcelona in the 21st century and the youngest player to play in La Liga in the club's history. After setting numerous records, dribbles and goals, the La Masia talent is about to have another special night at the Camp Nou.

For Wojciech Szczesny and Marcus Rashford, this will also be a magical night. This may be the first time they wear Barcelona shirts and fight at the Nou Camp. But they have been here before as rivals.

Szczesny has played in the Champions League twice at this stadium: once with Arsenal in 2011, and again with Roma in 2015. Rashford has also appeared here twice with Manchester United, once in the Champions League in the 2018/19 season, and again in the Europa League in the 2022/23 season, when he broke through Ter Stegen's ten fingers.
