Jones Jr. is injured for 6 weeks! Ship Notes: Another heavy casualty for the ill-fated Clippers

According to previous reports, Derrick Jones Jr. suffered a medial collateral ligament sprain in his right knee and will be reviewed in six weeks.
Clippers reporter Joey Linn updated his Twitter and wrote: "The Clippers announced this morning that Derrick Jones Jr. has knee soreness. It has been confirmed that his injury will require at least six weeks of rest. The good news is that the injury could have been much more serious, but for the Los Angeles Clippers, which has been plagued by misfortune this season, this is undoubtedly another heavy loss of personnel."
So far this season, Jones Jr. has played in 13 games, averaging 10.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.
Currently, the Clippers have 4 wins and 9 losses, ranking 11th in the Western Conference.
