Recently, NBA reporter Zach Lowe talked about the Lakers' operations of signing free agent Marcus Smart who was bought out by the Wizards in his personal podcast program "The Zach Lowe Show".
Lowe said: "Jordan Goodwin performed well last season and they had to cut Goodwin in order to get Marcus Smart. However, Smart has only played about 40 games in the past two years. There is a possibility - although the Lakers don't want this to happen - that is, Goodwin's performance next season may be as good as Smart."
