The club confirmed in response to Biography’s inquiry on Wednesday that preparations will only be held at the training base on Sebena Street.

The reason behind this decision is that the extra game load of the Club World Cup and the preparation time from the end of the game to the beginning of the new season's official game was very short, that is, it was only less than two and a half weeks, so Bayern decided not to hold a training camp for several days.

Currently, Bayern stars are still in a three-week holiday, which is the holiday that coach Kompany gave to the players after losing to Paris in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup. He said at the time: "It won't work if there are fewer ones. I know other teams have started preparing for the game, but the important thing is that the boys can now really relax and accumulate energy so that we can take the next step in the new season."

Sports director Ebert also said: "The boys should relax. We are still in progress this season, and other teams are reviewing it. We have been playing continuously, and now they have three weeks of vacation. This is crucial after our long period of time."

Bayern will only start preparing for the new season on July 28, and there will be less than two and a half weeks before the Super Cup against Stuttgart on August 16. During the preparation period, Bayern also arranged three warm-up matches: against Lyon on August 2, against Tottenham on August 7, and against Grasshoppers on August 12.

But the good news for fans is that in the summer of 2026, Bayern stars plan to go to Lake Teigen again and show themselves to local fans. In addition, Bayern will also change the campsite hotel next year: they will move to the premium hotel "Egerner Höfe" with an exclusive wellness area and top-notch restaurants.
