Portugal coach Martinez praised Ronaldo's relentless pursuit and said he was eager to be the best.

In Saturday's World Cup qualifiers, the 40-year-old Ronaldo scored twice, helping Portugal defeat Armenia 5-0, expanding his individual national team goal record to 140 goals.

"He lives every day like a young player who plays for the first time," Martinez said of Ronaldo before the World Cup qualifier against Hungary on Tuesday. "His daily commitment and vitality, he is a winner, and he aspires to be the best."

C Ronaldo has not yet revealed when he will retire, and he has recently renewed his contract with the victory, and his contract will last until June 2027. In June this year, he also led Portugal to win the UEFA Champions League. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has scored more than 900 goals in his career.
