Barrera: Mancinis Paletti s period is not going well, I hope Gattuso will take us back

Barrera admitted that "a lot of things were not going well" under Mancini and Spaletti, but he hoped that the Italian team would "retrieve themselves" under Gattuso's leadership.

The new Italian national team will face Estonia in Bergamo on Friday, then face Israel in Debrecen's neutral position. This will be the debut of the new head coach Gattuso. Previously, Spaletti was fired in June after taking the lead in coaching for a short time.

Barrera is one of the few stable players under Gatuso, and he is likely to partner with Newcastle United star Tonali in the midfield.
