Trainer: Curry s speed has not decreased with age and he is stronger
Today, Curry trainer Brandon Payne was interviewed by team reporter Mark Medina, and during that time he talked about Curry's current physical condition.
"As players get older, players may lose some speed. But that doesn't happen to Curry (37). In fact, he bounces better than ever before, and the first step is the fastest in his career. He can process the information on the court and make decisions faster, which can compensate for possible speed losses," Brandon Payne said.
Asked if Curry was stronger, Brandon Payne said: "It's true. Carl Bergstrom (another fitness technician) did a great job in this to make sure he was not only strong but healthy. Fans always like to discuss the physical changes of the players, which is also an interesting topic of conversation."
