Stone: Put Jaylen Green in the deal, just for salary and role considerations
Rockets general manager Stone emphasized in an interview with the media on Monday local time that the trade to include Jaylen Green in Durant was mainly due to financial and role considerations, rather than the direct result of that disappointing playoff journey.
"This is what the trade is needed. This is the NBA, and you can only trade when a certain amount of money goes out and when a certain amount of money goes in. And, there is some overlap in position, or at least in terms of ball-holding," Stone said.
