Shams: NBA informed 30 teams that it has initiated a mechanism to review player injury reports and monitor bets
According to Shams, the NBA informed 30 teams that it has launched a comprehensive review of player injury reports and betting monitoring mechanisms to identify abnormal gambling behaviors.
The NBA stated in a memorandum to the teams: "Although the abnormal bets on Rozier's 'under' in the March 2023 game were monitored in real time because the bets were placed through legal channels, we believe that more measures need to be taken from the legal/regulatory level to maintain the fairness of the NBA and its leagues.
