Brownie talks about where his father is going in the new season: I don t pay attention to rumors, focus on the present, work hard every day
Today, Lakers guard Brownie James was interviewed after training.
When asked about the current speculation about where his father will go in the new season, Brownie said: "Actually, a friend of mine called me and talked about where I will play next season because my dad was in the news. I didn't see those reports at the time. After he called me and told me, I said 'I don't know what you're talking about'... I don't pay much attention to these things. There are a lot of rumors that I don't care." Brownie also said that he and his father did not discuss too much about the future direction of the team and whether LeBron wants to stay in Los Angeles.
"We don't actually talk about these things very much. I think when these topics come up, he always tells me not to worry, not to focus on these things, but to focus on what is happening right now. This way I can get better and stay focused. I think it's a good advice for him to let me not pay attention to these things.
"Obviously as a member of the team, I think we will perform better than last year, we need to come to the stadium with our goals, prepare to work hard every day, and make progress every day. ” Brownie said.
Brownie will represent the Lakers in the Summer League.
